Currently, disruptions occur in the fulfillment process when a customer's originally selected parcel locker becomes full or unavailable during order processing and dispatch. In such cases, the system should automatically recommend the closest or most ideal alternative parcel locker. The customer must receive an immediate, automated notification regarding the change and the new parcel point details (subject to merchant settings). If the customer prefers, they should have the option to wait for the original locker to become available. In this scenario, the system should notify the merchant once the locker is freed up, or - depending on the merchant's settings - the DGW should automatically create the shipment.
